Twelve Sunday evenings from January to June, 2020

Join us for a six-month learning community as we:
Develop healthy life rhythms that nurture our relationships with God
Explore and practice different ways of Bible reading and prayer
Learn how to recognize and participate in the work of the Holy Spirit as he renews us, our relationships, and the world around us
Format:
6 monthly workshops (2.5 hours): 1/12, 2/9, 3/15, 4/5, 5/3, 5/31 (6:30-9:00 p.m.)
6 mid-month small groups (1.5 hours): 1/26, 2/23, 3/29, 4/19, 5/17, 6/14 (6:30-8:00 p.m.)
Daily devotionals and prayer ideas (time varies)
Bi-monthly assignments and readings (2-3 hours)
Commitment:
Requires 100% participation and on-time attendance (up to one absence permitted)
Cost:
$65 (to help cover the cost of materials and food)

1. Turning Back & Making Room
What is prayer? What are the obstacles to prayer and how might they impact our relationships with God?
What is a quiet time? How might our temperament impact our prayer life?
2. The Holy Spirit
Who is the Holy Spirit and what does he do?
How do we recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit and interact with him?
3. The Sin Beneath the Sin
What are idols?
How is the Holy Spirit at work as our idols are revealed?
4. Healing Prayer: Part 1
What are the broken narratives of our families and cultures? How might they impact us and our relationships with God and others?
How is the Holy Spirit at work as these narratives are revealed?
5. Healing Prayer: Part 2
As God heals us, how is he renewing us and the world through us?
What does it look like for God to reign over every area of our lives?
6. Thy Kingdom Come
How is God renewing the communities and places we’re in?
How do we actively participate in his plan?
