Bonne Kramer
WS Music Assistant

Bonne Kramer hails from a Christmas tree farm in Florida. She has a B.A. in Performing Arts and works as a singer, actor, and voice over artist. Bonne joined our staff in August 2012 as the WS Music Assistant. Her duties include organizing singer events, supervising royalty payments, making sure musicians get paid, and proofing Sunday worship bulletins. “I really enjoy organizing our singer forums,” says Bonne. “I get to meet performers of all kinds and help provide an environment where there is a genuine desire to fellowship with other Christian professional singers.”

Bonne’s interests are wide-ranging: from Ping-Pong, to riding her bike, to playing the bassoon. She loves swing dancing and has a side job dancing at Bar Mitzvahs. She's also played softball her whole life and plays in Central Park every spring. “As a child I wanted to be the first professional female baseball player,” says Bonne. It didn’t happen. But she did have a gig singing and dancing at Madison Square Garden for Phish.

Fun Bonne Fact: “I can practically drink mustard. I have an entire shelf in my fridge dedicated to all my precious mustards.”

Vision
To build a great city for all people through a gospel movement that brings personal conversion, community formation, social justice and cultural renewal to New York City and, through it, to the world.

Hello ,

Last week approximately 40 fourth grade students and four teachers from the Dwight School visited the W83 building as part of a unit they were studying on ‘belief systems’. After a brief tour of the building they settled in the first two rows of the sanctuary. I introduced myself, gave a brief history of Redeemer and then let them fire away. It was fun and fascinating as some of them excitedly told me about their experiences in their Christian churches. Others asked about everything from the significance of Christmas and Easter, to why Christians drink wine during worship services, and the difference between Christianity and other religions. It was a fascinating experience and a reminder of why Jesus equated genuine faith with children. As they walked away waving and smiling it struck me that I had just spent 30 minutes in the sanctuary repeatedly using the words faith, hope and love. Why? Because I had been in the presence of a group of children who expressed a genuine interest in who God is, and unbridled enthusiasm in telling others about him. That’s a pretty good lesson for the rest of us.

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." - Matthew 19:14

In Christ,

Rev. David Bisgrove
